MFG Cyclocross - Lake Sammamish GP

Flat, fast, except, oh yeah, multiple sections of sand, getting more and more challenging to ride through the day. Plenty of fast sweeping turns that beg your judgment at what speed to take. Bring your speed and running acumen.

#protip by Steve Fisher – “You don’t have to attack the sand, you have to be able to attack after the sand when your competitors are hurting.”

MFG Cyclocross - South Sound Super Prestige

Another speedsters course, starts fast with a few sweeping turns before turning uphill for long while. The downhill plunge demands attention to your cornering technique; the finish your sprint.

#protip by Steve Fisher – “Be smart and save energy where you can, then make it count near the top of the climb.”

MFG Cyclocross - Brian Tracy Experience

Hills, sand, more hills, more sand. This venue demands a lot of muscle and technique. Numerous tricky turns with multiple lines to choose from. The sand is navigable to those with the speed and technique to master it. You might make up time on the hills, lose it in the sand and downhill…a very entertaining course.

#protip by Steve Fisher – “Break this one into small sections and attack each one with focus. Stay light on the front wheel through the sand pits and attack each climb.”

MFG Cyclocross - Magnuson Park Cross

Flat and fast with turns that again demand your judgment. Bring your tactical sense but don’t forget your ‘cross skills for the shootout in it’s spectacular setting by the lake.

#protip by Steve Fisher – “Pick some fast tires for today if you can. Not necessarily more pressure though because you need to corner well through the twisty sections.”

MFG Cyclocross - Woodland Park GP

A high speed hilly loop through Woodland Park in central Seattle. From the slightly uphill paved start to the gravel climb on the backside, this loop will keep you breathing hard. Pick your lines right to keep your momentum because this is another course that demands a lot of muscle.

#protip by Steve Fisher – “Line choices are key here, check out what racers earlier in the day are doing in the critical sections.”
