West Seattle Cyclery brought SWOBO bikes in last spring to offer an bikes from a company doing things a little differently. Come check out the SWOBO bikes and take one for a test ride.

Swobo has always been known as innovators in the ‘Urban Cycling’ space. But as the market has evolved, we too have grown as a brand.

Fillmore - $999

Named after the renowned music venue, a street in San Francisco or perhaps an infamous pimp who lives there, the 2014 revision of this bike features an array of bells and whistles including 8-speed Shimano Alfine hub and disc brakes, making it an eager recipient for whatever you have to dish out.

To assist in avoiding the dreaded wet weather ‘poo butt’, we threw on fenders to help keep you looking presentable after you’ve arrived at your destination.  Rounding out the city-style package are custom Swobo grips, saddle, and machined alloy handlebar end plugs.

Details can be found on SWOBO's website.

Accomplice - $549

The best partner-in-crime is one who won’t let you down. Or rat you out. The Accomplice isn’t saying anything.

When you have one of the most popular fixed geared bikes in the stable, it’s not easy to work out what comes next. We took this question to the streets asking messengers, riders, and everyday Jacks and Jills what they wanted in a single speed sled. “Make it bomber.” No problem.

We kept the geometry of the Sanchez but added a gusset under the down tube so you can bash around with confidence. Gave it wider handle bars for greater control. Then grabbed the cheeks and made room for 45c tires so those potholes and other obstacles?

Forget about it.

Details can be found on SWOBO's website.

SCOFLAW - $1249

What's in a name?  El Jefe has had this one rattling around for a while, just needed the right ride to pin it on.  “A ranger called me a scofflaw when I was caught poaching trails in Nisene Marks forest on a singlespeed ‘cross bike as a kid.  When I asked what a scofflaw was, he answered ‘Look it up!’”  Suits us just fine.

We're dubbing the Scofflaw as an "alternative road" bike.  Alt.Road for short. Any road will do as long as you're out there having fun and riding one of these.  Yeah, trails and parks too.

Details can be found on SWOBO website.
